CHALLENGEAlegria was envisioned as a private luxury resort community on Costa Rica's Emerald Coast, with resort services, a spa and health club, restaurants, galleries, and retail. The broader Flamingo Guanacaste vision included more than 6,000 residential units.
THINKINGTandem participated in master planning, brand programming, and real estate visioning. Immersion in Costa Rican culture led to an international marketing and sales program built around Pura Vida - not as a slogan, but as a philosophy of gratitude, simplicity, and ease. Targeted private events and experiences reached high-net-worth prospects in North America and Europe.
OUTCOMELaunched in the rainy season. Set Costa Rican records for price per square foot and sales velocity. Fifty percent sold in the first month.
